Title: Premier League V 'others'
Post by: Cpt Sisko on 16 February, 2015, 08:47:20 pm
Just sitting here watching Man Utd V Preston North End. 0 - 0 at half time and me thinking Preston aren't doing that badly all things considering. So why is the such a gulf between Premier League teams and those clubs in lesser leagues?

Ultimately Man U are sure to win, but Cambridge Utd didn't embarrass themselves a few weeks ago and Preston are doing okay so far.

Is it money, training, the coach or what? Certainly on the face of what I've just watched there isn't a great gulf between the skill of the players.

Man Utd are not sure to win. Upsets do happen. They came to Southend a few years ago and lost 1 - 0, courtesy of Mr. Eastwood.
