finisher medals

Interesting that finishers appear to be getting their medals now, without the time stamp, rather than several months later with their finishing time added.

Nice looking medal too!
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

Allows me to get it engraved with what I think my time is, since their view may differ as my timing chip did not get picked up at start or finish and a few other places, even it did work at some controls. J think on one place it even worked on the way out but not the way back

Does it have space for an iTAB thing on the back? That's what many places do now (so they can give you a medal on the finish line).

You'll get a 'sticker' with your time in January when they return the cards to you.  All new for this year and one of the improvements for sure.  People like having the solid chunk of bling for photos etc.

And I’m guessing your finish time is the time on your Brevet card, rather than the chip time?

Good cos this chatterbox spent at least half an hour getting from the line to that gazeboo ;) Might have lost my sub 60h that way ;)
