Driving home on Thursday evening, up Coldhams Lane, which is a 40mph limit. Something runs out from the bushes on the rhs, so I brake hard, there is an almighty bang, and I stop.
I get out. There is nothing behind, under, on the front of, or anywhere else I can find, of a splatted appearance. However there is a part of the grime down the side of the car that is missing.
It's a dent, though barely noticeable. I think it might have been a muntjack (originally I thought fox but I'm not so sure now). I saw a muntjack on the way to meet mike this morning.
Whatever it is, I hope it's not too badly hurt, and doesn't mind its fur being all covered in road grime from my car.
