Jack & Grace Cotton 2020

Bit damp and mucky, but dry and mild. Awesome flapjack at Farmers Table. Thanks to ACB for their cheerful hosting. However, main reason for posting is to say a big thank you to the chap who loaned me a chain tool and calm reassurance when the chain on my fixed gear broke on the one short sharp hill on the whole route. Like a good little Audaxer I had packed a split link; like a pillock I’d forgotten to bring a multi/ chain tool to make it of any use! Anyway, many thanks boss.

Hi hi vicar
Glad you made it around and glad I could help you out and it was no trouble at all.
Tbh- it gave me an excuse for a breather before the climb 😃.

See you out on the road again sometime

I've entered for 2023 (next weekend) but haven't had an email yet - should I be patient? :)
