the magazine redesign was a mess of diarrhoea - the website isn't anything like that bad - but wondering why - do they think it'll help auk will get more members?

I'm guessing you mean the Audax UK website.

There are loads of discussions about this, but from what I remember at the time, a few prominent members and organisers insisted that the old website was very off-putting as a front page, and a new website would be more welcoming.
