In this case figs.
I'm thinking of a tarte aux figues, with ground almonds. A quick "google" brings up plenty of recipes, in French. Anyone got a recipe in English?

Are your figs as soft as our(neighbour)s?
They are too soft for ANY handling; I term them liquid fig. I'd really only use them for compôte or crumble.
