Forgive me if this isn't the done thing but I've got a topic up in the Folders subforum and I'm not sure it gets the most traffic.
Basically I'm looking at modifying a conventional fork to fit a folding bike to make fitting a motor simpler and have some questions about a safe and sane way to approach it.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

Suggest you move this to 'skip bike and bodge it' the young in cheek thread title belittles the skills of those who contribute
