TBH, I think Wowbagger professing an ignorance of popular culture to rival that of a High Court judge is an act. :demon:

Stuff that was popular culture when I was small I know a fair bit about - or at least, have heard of people/bands. It's pretty well anything after I left school in 1972 that is a closed book to me.

I have worked a lot in Liverpool recently (at least until Covid borked everything)

So that's where that football club got that song from.  I never wondered.
I've dusted off all those old bottles and set them up straight
