''Re: Has anyone seen Brucey?
Postby atlas_shrugged » 23 Mar 2021, 11:54am

Just to let you all know Brucey has had a stroke and is in hospital.

An angel neighbour raised the alarm about a week ago and the police took the front door off Brucey's house. They found Brucey lying at the rear of the house and the ambulance men estimate that he had been there for about four days.

I went round to Bruceys house this morning after reading this thread last night. I will try and post more information when I have it for you all.

In the meantime would it be possible to switch this thread to positive responses about how to recover from a stroke. Brucey is a legend and one of our national treasures. But please no questions let us get positive suggestions together.''

I had been wondering what had happened to him, and I even looked at his last post a few days ago to see him he had announced his departure, thinking that there may have been a reason why he had left us.  All is now clear and I do miss his detailed explanation of technical problems.  GWS and hurry back.

Oh no! Poor chap. That's awful news. Glad to hear he is now in safe hands and being looked after though. Fingers crossed he makes a full recovery.

Thanks for sharing, Blodders.

What can I say that hasn't already been said above. Get well soon, yes, but take the time that it takes. Strokes can be long and four days on the floor isn't going to speed things up. We'll all be waiting eagerly for your return.
