An interesting snippet from that clip shows the referee clapping as they run back.
It is simpler than it looks.

In reading his obituary I was unaware of his transfer to Liverpool in 1972 (that ultimately never happened) though I was very young at the time. 

<that> goal for Bolton was just a work of genius. 

My first recollection of him is from the 1974 Home Internationals when he very much looked the part and almost scored a fairly audacious effort in the first half against Scotland. 

That game was also memorable (to me anyway aged 9) for The Wombles being on the pitch as half time entertainment and the Scots using their World Cup Finals squad numbers rather than 1-11.
