My daughter's laptop is infected.  ::-)

Anyone had any success in removing this little bugger?

One of the various free 'Stinger' files on MacAfee might do it. I think they're found (with a little digging) under Downloads.

I thought Stinger only did the major threats, not smaller trojans.

Dunno. You probably know more than I do. Last time I looked - a niece had done something stupid - there were several versions of Stinger, each with a list of what they'd tackle.

PC now disinfected. Daughter admonished.
Lecture given on NOT turning off the virus protection, ensuring MicroShaft updates are downloaded regularly, and generally not going to dodgy websites!  ::-)
