new bike knee pain.
« on: 07 March, 2009, 06:00:54 pm »
i have been riding fixed for commuting for about 6 months now, and about a week ago i was given i a specialized langster as a birthday present. i fliped thehub over to fixed and took it for a ride. i was perfectly fine. however the next morning i went fo a training ride and i barely got 6 miles before i had to stop because my knees were on fire.

i really dont understand it because im using the same shoes and pedals as my previous bike, on which  had no trouble.

any surgestions as to what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. if any one knows mrcharly. im his son. Hi.

Saddle height. Measure the old bike, bottom bracket centre to centre of saddle. Adjust the new one to the same.
