Madonna being sued for late concert start

It could only happen in the US, I suppose, but it's an interesting challenge. It seems to happen less these days as I think venues are stricter about finishing times, but I can recall many instances of acts keeping the audience waiting for an hour or more and, in one case, rolling on stage at almost 11pm on a Sunday night, by which time many in the audience had to leave to catch last trains, etc.

At the other end of the scale are the ones who just don't want to leave the stage. I remember one John Martyn gig where the venue eventually turned on all the house lights and turned the stage lights off in an attempt to get him to stop!

Should they win or are we on Madonna's side?

Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

They seem to be undermining their own case, in that their own evidence is that Madonna has a history of starting concerts late... so that kind of blows out of the water their claim that they wouldn't have bought tickets if they'd it would finish so late.
