One of the main reasons for getting our Brommies has been for pootling with the kids on holiday. Ive got a couple of racks that clamp on a seat post, you know the sort.
Obviously there's the extra faf of fitting at the start of a pootle at the car boot but does anyone think use of such could cause any damage. I'm thinking it should be mounted low down.
Your wisdom is thanked in advance.

Other than the faff of meaning you can't fold it so quickly, I can't see a problem, myself. I've been using a seatpost mounted SQR block to attach a saddlebag on my Brommie since forever...

I have used one on a normal bike for 300k audax rides with no problems although I think I would mount it low down to reduce the stress at the tune end.
ps get an airnimal we have rack mounts!
