We don't know if our cats did the deed (they've never brought a mouse in before) or if our neighbour's cat was the perp - he'd been in our house a couple of hours before.

I took the rabbit away from our cat on Tuesday night. The sound of crunching bones and the knowledge that I would be first up in the morning and not have any time to clean up the remains meant she lost her extra meal before she had finished it.

Once I had taken it away the daft mog then spent five minutes searching round the room to find where it had gone.

I found it while I was packing to go away. I must confess to making a pathetic girlie shriek when I was confronted by a dead body lying on Pingu's t-shirt shelf.
