I need a simple blender. Mixing sauces and not much else. I've no need of a multi-function chop/slash/burn beast, it will be used infrequently. I prefer to spend the lolly on good ingredients rather than posh equipment. Some Q's:
Are hand blenders adequate?
How many speeds do I need?
Is the replacability of blades important?
Recommendations from the cookerati most welcome.
