Yesterday's planned 6x Southwick Hill intervals cut short as I saw a yacf jersey going the other way. Turned around and had a very nice chat with Pickled Onion, who I knew lived in my small market town but had never met before.

Very nice to meet you SeƱor Pedal. At long last!

I guess he supplied the nicotine and flavour free vape that had Tom choking.

Aye tis me. I also make an inframe appearance on a few others. Tis the reason why people say I have a face for the radio.

this afternoon ,  I believe it was Graeme the cycling vicar , heading north on the A689 over the level crossing near Brampton.

Guilty as charged

Came here to report a beautiful orange velomobile on the outskirts of Durham today. Rider was using the cycle path along the A167 near Pity Me. Gorgeous looking machine, wondered who was piloting it.

Did the machine have "VELO QUEST" written along the sides in chunky black type?

If there was writing it wasn't big enough to notice from the car as we passed. It was a trike with two wheels at the front if that helps.

Russell and Mrs Russell in a field in Nottinghamshire, on account of them being at the same Tandem Club rally as me.

Then it turns out that Joe.B is pitched right next to us. Sorry for beating small Joe and friend in the Tandem Limbo competition.

Accidentally spotted myself: https://www.kidderminstershuttle.co.uk/news/19527470.bomb-squad-called-explosive-found-bewdley/

When I heard someone mention it was a bomb that had stuck me on the wrong side of the Severn, I was thinking some Germans had got lost on the way to Coventry.  This sounds a bit more 'see it, say it, sorted' than that.

Seems it did indeed date from The Great Patriotic War but whether ours or theirs hasn't been divulged.

Yeah, just as likely that someone dropped a hand grenade off the bridge as navigationally-challenged Germans.

Curiously, this was the scene of my recent detour if you noticed the rather narrow and busy left turn, just up from where you're stood standing, that was what I dragged the caravan around.

Did we ride past Wowbagger and a couple of others out near Linton yesterday?? (possibly loadsabikes?)

You were stopped at a junction, checking a map.  I was suffering too badly, desperately hanging on to her back wheel while still 20 miles to home to let me stop and chat!

I thought Wowbagger had been around so long that he knew All Teh Roadz.
