What I Did On My Holidays - San Francisco to LA

In posting a review of my tent, I just realised I didn't post anything from my most recent tour - riding south on Route 1 from San Francisco to LA with a couple of friends. I took some photos on the way.

Lawks! The cheesesteak is nearly as big as the tent!

The tour looks, well, unfeasibly blue-skied (and amazing). I'm getting sunburn just thinking about it...  8)

That's the bit I didn't do!  My trip was Seattle to SF,  I rode part of the way with some Americans who were going all the way to LA.

I know what you mean about hostel companions,  it's why I prefer to camp, I'd sooner risk the racoons & bears!
