Has anyone tried one of these?  Any good for reading routesheets etc?  Can it be switched on/off easily with one hand wearing gloves?

I no longer need a head torch for route sheets because I have my sheet positioned in front of the bars, on the right, just below the level of the bars. I have it so that my 2 handlebar mounted lights can point at the road the way I like, with a slight spill of light hitting the route sheet without making it too bright.

We bought one.  It can be operated one hand with gloves.

What we like

• small
• very lightweight
• can be operated one hand with gloves

What we don't like

• the light is a little too concentrated in centre, we would prefer a wider spread
• have to toggle through all the modes (x5) to switch off

Verdict
It will be fine for occasional routesheet reading etc.  Due to it having disposable coin batteries we won't be using it for prolonged periods.
