Anyone else doing this one, I think it's new.

I've entered but hoping the weather forecast will change as it looks like a hurricane  :o :o   ::-) ::-)

I have entered but with the way I am going at the moment it could be a long day.

I hope its not a hurricane for the time I will be out!

I am in. Riding with two team mates  the second control cafe is a gem.

I like good cafes  ;D

Wind currently now up to 21mph in Romsey. Once it gets over 20mph I don't feel safe any more because I am a pussy and so don't ride. I really want to do this so praying it changes.

Definitely in for Sunday. I have a feeling this ride might be too lumpy for my current abilities, but nothing ventured, nothing gained n all that :)

No-one's done this before right?

Many thanks to Bob and his team for organising a great ride - wonderful route through areas I have not ridden before.
I unfortunately managed to get myself lost around the Nether Wallop area and then found my way back to Romsey from there, so did not complete the course. :-[ :-[.
Does anybody have an idea of the altitude gain on the ride - it seemed to be much hillier than the 1660m claimed on the calendar.

Many thanks to Bob and his team for organising a great ride.

And from me, too.

According to my Garmin it was 2,436m, so only 50% more than the Google figure on the calendar (but don't tell Lady Cavendish!  ;)).

The altitude was about 6479m  ;) ;) :P :P

Bloody great ride, lovely route- the views were fantastic. Apart from that very horrible 'resurfacing' before Whitchurch- how on earth can roads be left like that?! The whole 210k were all lovely places to be riding in.

Loved the 2nd café, the Downton control was great, and the food and helpers at the finish were amazing. This is exactly how Audaxes should be done. (apart from the couple of late thunderstorms)

Thanks so much to Bob and crew, I had a lovely day out. Despite all those hills we had to go up  ;) :P ;D

Great day out, good route, good cafes and great food at the finish. Rode out to the start and home afterwards, stopped for a couple of pints on the way home. 191miles for the day all done in day light.

Thanks to bob for running the event and thanks to my three  audax club Portsmouth teams mates for the laugh's on the way round.
