But there are plenty of spaces to use, to complete the sentence.  Surely you can think of a creative way of doing it?

"..... as a suppository" springs to my twisted mind.

Google suggests:

".... batteries as toothpaste"
".... sign"
".... recursion for this domain"

Looking through some old photos, I noticed this one taken on the YACF "Up the 'Uts" weekend a few years ago:

Wrong on so many counts, but being a building anorak I diverted to studying the brick bonding, a perverse variation on English garden wall bond...

Now does it mean what it says, no dogs riding bicycles, or is it suggesting its a bicycle riding area, so no dogs, or no bicycle riding, because dogs are allowed.  I'm always amused by signs referring to "no bicycle riding" as it only encourages trikes and unicycles, and quadcycles, and....

Referring to "cycling" would cover all, and saves on paint.  As you say, silly sign...

Interesting. If I tilt my screen away from me I can see 'No Smoking' in there. Photoshop?

Well spotted! Wonder if NO SMOKING was originally in red but faded after exposure to the elements.

Definitely a colour other than black. It's at Whitehaven station and if you get up close the NO SMOKING is a very pale yellow colour.

RED and YELLOW fade most in the sun, unlike BLUE.

This is true, and while it's a well known fact that red bikes are faster, the problem is they get slower if you ride them on sunny days.

Blue reflects the higher-energy portion of the spectrum, red absorbs everything but the lower. Political moralizing opportunity.
