Back to tomorrow night, and assuming we are heading for the Cross Keys at White Notley, I offer the Witham peloton THIS ROUTE.

NB: No TMNH  :o

unless we turn right at the end of Fairstead Road

Shall I do a bit of trimming?

A winter friendly route without muddy COR would be a reasonable start, unless GS brings his Adventure BikeTM

Phew, just what I delivered!  I hate to disappoint.

Or perhaps we should entertain some more suggestions...

It looks like the Easter Bunny is going to deliver that one - but I have just bought a mountain bike

I will be riding tonight, see you at Spa Rd for 7:30

A few (4!) less layers to wear than for Saturdays experiment in avoiding hypothermia at Hartford End post box.

I would make sure one of the layers is waterproof as there is a high probability of rain tonight. :o

It might pass over between 9pm and 11pm ...

Separately, GS and jiberjaber I have your Arrow certificates. Do you want me to bring them tonight? GS, it might be easier if I hand yours over on Sunday, if you're planning to park at the 'official' car park.

I am planning to park in the "official" one - albeit only has 20 spaces, so Sunday seems a better option

Unsure if I am out tonight, but will have room if I am.  Assume it is in a plastic bag? Should fit in the fixed saddle bag.

I'll try to pick up the peloton en-route somewhere.  (I have to do the Guides run tonight)

Couldn’t believe the rain had more or less passed by the time we left the pub ... good timing :-)

I see that we are due to be in Chelmsford on Wednesday, but it is the beer festival in Chelmsford the following Wednesday.

The forecast is looking good this week, so I'd be happy to go a bit further if the consensus was for a more easterly venue, like that place near Maldon.

Yes, it looks like Jibers is having one of his rest periods in his training regime:

Chelmsford this week
Chelmsford next week
Broads Green (ie 8k from Chelmsford) the week after
then a couple round Witham and then
Chignall (5k from Chelmsford)
Blackmore (10k from Chelmsford)

I am happy with inbetweener pubs like last week's at this time of year but if Huggy could arrange better weather that would be appreciated.  Chelmsford works for me too but probably train assisted.
