TTT at Grand tours

Can someone explain to me how timing works for TTT's at UCI Grand tours.

The time for each team is taken at the 4th rider across the line, That I get. But how does that work for the individual riders? If a TTT is the 1st stage, is the 1st rider of the team across the line the one that gets the yellow/pink/red jersey ?

Do all the riders get their own individual time, used for their GC placing, seperate from the overal team time used to say which team won the stage?

Same as normal, the riders that finish together all get the same time.
The difference is that the time is taken on the 4th rider, rather than the first, and none of the riders can be given a faster time.
Dropped riders get their actual time.

If it's the first stage, the first rider to cross the line gets to wear the jersey, on the basis of using placings to separate riders on the same time.

Gotcha. That makes sense.

Thanks
