My beautiful cohab has grown this:



...and she's just making it into coleslaw for our tea  :D

Quite nice finely sliced then sauteed in butter and some black pepper

I never know what to do with the ones we get in our veg box, so end up putting it in curry, which just tastes wrong. Thanks for the suggestions!

I saute in butter then simmer in a little stock until it's cooked. :)

I tasted some kohlrabi for the first time yesterday and thought it tasty and so will try to grow some next year.

Kohl rabi are now my official favourite vegetable. I grew some thins year. I shall be attempting to grow lots more next year. Even the offspring likes them. I like them so much I can take a whole one, pluck off the leaves and then attack the main body of the kohl rabi, eating it as if it were an apple... I cannot get enough kohl rabi..

Coleslaw or stir fry, every time.  Stir fried with peanuts, om nom nom!

I tend to use it grated as part of a salad. But that only gets me so far. There seem to be more in my Riverford box than I can use so the suggestions on here are welcome.
