Howdy Partners,

What a cracking weekend. My first time camping by bike (and in the winter) which was all in interesting experience and I learnt a few things. My sleeping bag is too small for me, don't forget a sleeping map, cheap butane cookers are crap when it is cold as examples.

Great company and was great to see others along the way during the course of the day.

Massive thanks to OD and any other members involved in the Organisation.

See you all soon hopefully.

It was a cracking weekend, I loved it.  Big thanks to all of you who turned up.

I also love the reaction we get from the civilians we happen across.  Some are laughing at us, some with us.  It doesn't matter really, it's fantastic to see happy faces.

Quite a few people mentioned that having The Do early in January worked well so perhaps we should allow a precedent to be set.

Despite not being able to ride all the way round with you all  :( I am honoured and delighted to receive the MEMWNS Trophy as winner of 2014!

Here it is rightfully displayed on my mantelpiece:

Thanks to OD and Oaky for all the organisation behind the day, really enjoyed a great route through some super Essex countryside and the company was pretty decent too!!

January is so old hat for Christmas celebrations. It's got to be February next year. This doesn't just have the novelty value of a different month, it gives us an extra month to recover from the memory of the last one.

We were wondering about dumping Christmas and latching onto the Epithany theme. You know, wise men following a star in the east (or was it the west?). We've got plenty of time to iron out the details.

We have on occasion celebrated Christmas with friends at different times of the year for various reasons. (including turkey dinner, Christmas trees and presents - even a visit from Santa - in July). Maybe Wow is on to something.

Sorry I missed it. Unfortunately at work till 7 and dint feel much like braving the elements by the time I got home. Enjoyed the write ups and photos.

Great stuff huggy!

Whilst I look completely knackered, walking into the Axe and Compasses in the Reindeer suit, I actually felt worse than I look!

The long awaited Part Duex - the speech is now live and out there on the interweb.  If you watch this don't blame me for the loss of 9 minutes 33 seconds of your life you'll never get back  :demon:

Oh dear  ;D  ::-)

The funniest bit was when the waiter wanders in with DL's tea!  I'd forgotten about that.

I fear that one day we will loose Huggy to Hollywood. It's only a matter of time.
