https://www.cyclinguk.org/event/ride/kirkpatrick-macmillan-rally-km180 refers.
I don't know anything about this event personally, but I came across it while calendar-wrangling, and thought it worthy of a YACF thread...
ETA: Now cancelled. https://mailchi.mp/d1a293618cb7/km180-cancelled?e=998394a31d

I've been meaning to go for years, it looks like the stars align for this year and it's already in the diary.

That does look rather good. D & G is a splendid place to cycle, with the exception of the unmade roads through the Forest of Ae... ;)

Went to this a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Kept meaning to go back but as yet not done so.

Went to this in the '90's on the tandem. It was great - Would do it again on the tandem. It is indeed a great part of the country to cycle.

Just spotted that it's cancelled: https://mailchi.mp/d1a293618cb7/km180-cancelled?e=998394a31d

Along with everything else, I hope to go another year instead.

In the past it has been held once every two years so if they keep to that format the next one will be May 2022.

Bikepacker, I met you at that KM.
It is a great area to cycle in.
This years was a one off special breaking the 2 year cycle.
I hope and expect it is back on next year.
Julian.
