A brand new Scottish Borders route following the Snow hare as it changes its colours from Winter to Spring along the valley roads from Galashiels through Peebles and Biggar then over to Sanquhar via the spectacular Spango pass. Amazing views on quiet roads and good cafe stops along the way.

It's shorter but no less spectacular cousin The Spring Ride of the Valkyries 114km which some say is one of the finest loops in the Scottish Borders with some amazing views and gradual climbs. Two good cafe stops.

Plenty of good local accomodation and direct train connection to Edinburgh

Both events have full TLC HQ with free food at the finish and Finishers medal included in entry fee

With Spring finally seeming to be arriving in the Borders at last it's just two weeks now till the Snow Hare dashes across from Galashiels to Sanquhar and the Spring Ride of the Valkyries makes it's spectacular loop round some of the finest views on the planet so a last call for entries. More info and entries as per links above.

Hope to see you there

Following this afternoons latest government directives The Snow Hare and Ride of the Valkyries are now postponed. A new date will be set which is likely to be October.

Here's hoping we'll soon be able to ride events again but looks like being a difficult next few months.

Take care everyone and keep pedalling and keep healthy.

bairn again

Thanks Lucy.

With a rearranged date there is possibly a silver lining in that myself and Mrs Again may be able to grace the 110km ride on our shiny new
tandem.

Something to look forward to is good for the soul in these uncertain times.
