2010 Ice Bike range with added foldingness

Kevin at DTEK mentioned these when I visited last week, and sure enough, the website has been updated and there are two folding videos on their Youtube channel

Unmitigated Swines!

How dare they!

Just as I thought I didn't need another bike they come out with one that would fold quickly and fit into my locker at work!

Hmmmmmmm...............

I wonder what a prototype Hurricane is worth as a trade-in?

I'll have an ICE B3, hardshell seat and wrap around bars please...

It looks like the rear section of B1 is the same as that of the rear-suspended trikes (and maybe the rear of the B2 is from the Vortex trike).  Seeing the two videos is helpful to get an idea of the differences between 26" and 20" models - I suspect I would really be struggling to reach the ground on a B2 but it does look nicer than the B1.  Do Shimano make platform shoes with SPDs?

Neatly done.  I had pondered how they were going to apply the trike fold to the bikes, but hadn't thought of that method.  Very minimalist adaption.

Doesn't quite look like that to me - I think it was before the folds, but not now.  The trikes have the hinge on a 45 degree angle, so the rear wheel is rotated 90 degrees out by the time it gets onto the front.  Here they've just aimed to get the rear wheel sideways by 10-20 degrees by the time it's round, so it slots alongside the front.  So the hinge looks nearly straight up/down, but is actually 5-10 degrees out.  Clever buggers.

<Secretly relieved they haven't updated more of the bike, and left me feeling jealous with last years model...  :)>

I have a serious problem with this video: He folds it up and puts it into a . . . . CAR!
