Beyond the Dales We Know 300 - 09/07/2022

It's back after a couple of years away, now with a Darlo start, which makes for a grand parade home from Folly Top to Darlo (hopefully with a tailwind).

Also now in summer rather than spring, but who knows what the weather will be. Perfect LEL prep, or just a decent ride out.

I'd love to ride but it's feeling ever more unlikely.
Deano, give us a shout if you want catering en-route again.

What a superb reason to visit the area once more. My plan will be to cycle up halfway (from Essex) and then catch the train, and do likewise on the return. Now just need to make sure I've got the fitness, which shouldn't be a problem with the rides I have planned this year.

Eddington: 133 miles    Max square: 43x43

It is indeed a splendid route, highly recommended. I'm also happy to help out if you need any more bods Deano (and if I am up to 300 km by then it makes a great helpers ride for me from near to home).  Like the timing; more hours of daylight and less chance of frost!
Think it possible that you may be mistaken.

Mucho appreciated. Do you need any VeloViewer tiles near there?

Awesome, and ta for the offers of help - I'll be in touch. Helpers would be great at Summerbridge, or Halton Gill, or both.

We rode it one August, it was lovely, but there's unlikely to be the opportunity for a snowball fight at the top of Shot Moss :(

Cards ordered, I've a few spare for anyone else who fancies a bunch of quiet roads, a flat start, a hilly middle and a downhill finish.
