Reproofing a tent
« on: 03 February, 2022, 04:18:03 pm »
Last year my brother borrowed my tent, it leaked muchly which was a surprise as I'd used it not long before and had been fine in heavy rain. Oh and I've seen the footage it certainly leaked it wasn't condensation

Oddly I'd been given a can of aerosol reproofer and done the tent before he borrowed it so wonder if this for some reason had the opposite effect

At some point when I have a weather window to dry tent afterwards I'll get it out and hose it to see what happens but has anyone got experience of reproofing that worked. It's a Vange calisto tent, pushing ten years old and been well used and of normal tent material.
