Crapsites

You know, those webshites that pop up in every Google search but add nothing to the sum total of human knowledge.  Aggregator sites, "how to" sites that tell you nothing of the sort in seemingly machine-generated English, and other clag that ruins the Internet.  I'll nominate:

Picclick
Findthatbike
Almost any Windows help site

Any website that pretends to sort out a 'what software to use' query, and cleverly hides the Shit-ware it is peddling about option 3 or 4 of 10.

It is simpler than it looks.

Pinterest.  As far as I can determine, its only function is to pollute search results  ???

Forums discussing mobile phones very narrowly avoid this status.

The answer is always whatever javaScript framework you didn't use

Any site that offers "Special Prices" on just the item you're looking for, then tries to get you to sign up to a recurring membership fee, monthly.
Finding the way back Out of those sites seems to just divert to links.

Ah yes, Pinterest.  Ruins Google Image Search, which was already crippled by the cessation of image caching (ok, I can see the reason for that, but it was far more reliable) and no, I don't want your fricking app.

Happily, since everyone hates it, there are effortless ways to remove it ftom image search results.

I find it super useful for finding picture prompts for my writing. It's also really handy if you run TTRPGs, as I do, when your players go off-plot to the degree where you need to generate NPCs on the fly.

Worthpoint.  Another eBay parasite that pollutes image search results.

101 crapsites that slightly reformat Wikipedia content.

ManoMano  - absolute joke

Explain? I thought it was like a local (French?) attempted rival to Amazon or Ali?

(Cylex - yes. What is the point of it?)
