Stac Zero - has reached absolute zero
« on: 20 July, 2022, 07:20:24 pm »
Went to do a turbo session today and my Stac Zero was not working properly, only one arm moving and then no arms moving.

Instead of going our for a ride, I spen the next hour getting extremely mucky and frustrated takling the thing apart, based on the help guides, reassembling it and finding nothing worked any differently. Essentially LHS (NDS) magnet arm is not moving at all whereas RHS (DS) is operating entirely normally.

Anyone else got one of these?  Anyone else had the same problem and fixed it?

Cheers
Dave

Had a response from 4iiiiiiiiii who bought STAC Zero, and have now discontinued their iteration of this.

"Sorry we've got nothing else to suggest.  We're discontinuing these trainers and will no longer be supporting them.  Would you like to buy one from our remaining stocks?"

What do you think, if this is the level of service I can look forward to, with a trainer that's failed in under four years.

EDIT - adn now it seems to be working again, maybe we need Dr Peter Venkman to do study on the telekinesis of turbo trainers
