Breathtaking series finale this week. Superb use of music, especially in the scene where

And I loved the look Gus gave Nacho at the end of that scene. Genuinely shocking ending too.

Roll on series 4...

The last series lost it's way a bit, but I'm enjoying this.

Woah! I didn't finish watching the last series.

I think I need a recap of the whole thing from the beginning. I've forgotten far too much to be able to just pick it up again now.

I was talking to The Current Mrs R about this the over day and we concluded we perhaps needed to start again with Breaking Bad and then move onto Better Call Saul.

I thought Better call Saul took some time to get going, at least the first two series did. I usually watch the season trailers which are 1 or 2 mins long if i need a refresh.

Good luck with watching BB and BCS, I did that during one of the covid lockdowns otherwise its just too time consuming (over 100 episodes).

Anyway at the end of the month Ozarks is back for the final series

I remember when El Camino came out, we went back and watched the final episode of Breaking Bad for a refresher. I think watching the whole lot again from the start might be too much of a commitment.

Yes, a big commitment.  Breaking Bad was the first show we'd ever watched on Netflix or any other streaming service and it blew us away, the best thing we'd ever seen on either TV or film so it might be worth it... we'll see.

Aw. I don't want to watch the final series, cos then it'll be done.
Never did finish Breaking Bad, got a bit tired of it.

4 episodes into S6 and its very good, they (Vince Gilligan and his co-writers) really are masterminds in building great
story lines with larger than life characters. The flash-forwards at the start of each episode alone are fantastic.

Really?

Underwhelmed was the last thing I felt. I was really relieved for it to end. Very difficult viewing.

Did you notice the disappearance of the bags under Bob Odenkirk's eyes between the pre-heart-attack episode and the next? I didn't but MrsT did.

OK so after these comments didn't make any sense we figured out that we hadn't watched the penultimate episode (Amazon said we had). So yes, that episode had a bit more punch to it. Still think the last one was a bit of a whimper though.
