Market hill is fine on fixed provided you can keep moving.  Short, sharp shock.  If you're lucky,  there's traffic at the mini-roundabout at the top and so you can stop for a cheeky breather.

For some reason, I heard that post in the same way that line is delivered in the chorus of The Four Tops "Reach Out - I'll Be There."

I then got to thinking how apt for the dark moments on a long ride the first two verse's lyrics are...

For the brain-dead, spaced-out, sleep-deprived, short-of-time:-

I am hoping that normal service will be resumed as from this evening 

I saw no press gang on my commute, I did however experience a lot of water falling from the sky! 

Will we see you out on the imaginary fixed bike anytime soon?
