My current plan is to ride over to the Woolie with an eta of 9pm.  Is anyone else actually riding.  If anyone is going from Spa they are welcome to head up via little Braxted lane along Grange Road etc and catch me coming the other way.

My evening plans have just been determined for me and they do not include riding a bike or visiting the Woolie, hope you all have a pint for me - I'll need it!!

I'm staying home tonight. I'm pretty tired and I've an early start tomorrow.

Have fun.

I now have pass to ride The Shark!

Not overly keen to see how much I am lacking that close to the Chapman but anyway, will be fun to blow out for a day on some hills. I'll try and get my Fat Lad At The Back shirt prior to that ride!

Witty. The bloke is a twat. His bike needs chucking off the train. People who put their feet on seats annoy me too. And people with enormous suitcases who take up extra seats. And fat people who can't fit in a single seat. I could go on ...

Wednesday night looks cold but dry.  Six Bells at Boreham, Three Elms or another pub with a number in its name ?

I am over the moon at either of those - a great recovery ride option / easy route for them contemplating not doing a RTTY this weekend...

3 Elms get my initial vote, both are on gritted routes if the temperatures require it...

The 3 Elms is a long way for a non-legend like myself,  but I'm up for it, just hope I don't perish in a frozen hedgerow on the way back home.

3 Elms... I might even be around this week.  I wonder if the bike still works after all this time ;)
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

Three Elms gets my vote: I was wondering about going over there to put in a request for their very own Audax Food of Champions [pork scratchings] for the Horsepower on 12th March.

Anyone leaving from Grand Central Roundabout?

Bobb and Jiber, I am probably leaving from Chelmsford.  Are we aiming to get up to Grand Central Roundabout for 7.30 or ride our own route and assemble at the pub at 9ish ?

I can probably do either.

Anyone leaving from Grand Central Roundabout?
Probably, as long as nothing happens before then to prevent me coming out to play this evening.

This is a route we have ridden before to the Three Elms, shall we follow it again?

Good decision. It was brass monkeys this morning. Cold on the way home last night as well and my ankle seized up when I got home so will be avoiding the cold as much as possible after today. Think I'm getting old... :-\

Yep I misjudged the temp quite badly yesterday morning, I thought it would be OK in the evening but had to work hard to get warm.

I have the excuse of looking after the girls tonight but really I think I'll leave the cold and dark for the commuting and the audaxing for a bit...Roll on Summer though!

Dunno, how many miles are looking at getting in before the pub? I have a slight cold, so probably don't want to do too many...
