Looks like I am around, I think there was a plan to keep going to The Hurdlemakers until Ted actually turns up... but we'd need to check with our newly voluntold Forward Planning Officer...

Up for Wed and I spotted The Hurdlemakers Arms on Sat!

Edit: so long as my cassette arrives in time!

Can I suggest a different pub and then not turn up? :demon:

Of course you can josser, that's a well known MEMWNS tradition.

Of course, I never pick a pub, but always turn up 😇

Hmmm ... might give tomorrow a miss, unless a nearer venue than the Hurdlemakers appears. Another named storm, still feeling a bit sinus-y and with a full day of gardening to do first - I'd like to save myself for the weekend's shenanigans.

I was at the hurdlemakers last week so happy to aim for a north westerly venue - POW at Broxted?

That would be fine for me. Do you think you could carry a jigsaw without it getting wet? If not, I’ll arrange a pick-up another time.

Should be fine, I'll wrap it in a plastic bag and put it in my courier bag

Broxted to far far for me in current state I'm afraid, looks like I'll do without my Ribs and go on the Turbo.

Not around for the next 2 weeks.

Perfect, thank you. I'll bring the cargo bike ... it's heavy enough to withstand strong winds, I'm hoping.

I thought the main plan for the main peloton was still to go to the hurdlemakers - this is just a NW splinter group.

If it helps reinforce jibbers' turbo date, I won't be venturing out in to the skirts of storm Dudley this evening (I had enough character building top-up last week returning from the Hurdlemakers).

I don't have to provide Dad's taxi service tonight as its half term.

The NW splinter group is obviously a lot closer to Harlow than the Hurdlemakers so I guess I'll head there.
POW =Prince of Wales ?
Should be there for around 20:30

Yes, Prince of Wales.

I would check the location on the map if you're not familiar. It's located closer to Brick End than Broxted.

Forecast is looking quite benign for this evening now. Dry and a wind strength about the same as last Saturday.

BBC weather is still forecasting 40+mph here in Mid-Essex.  Thus I shall not be venturing out plus I'm doing Cottage Pie for tea which can't be rushed as its my favourite  :smug:
