Doubtful for me this week as bike is undergoing surgery, as you all know.
Awaiting the General Post Office to deliver new headset bearings - then re assemble the front end of the bike. They may deliver Wednesday.
The back end of the bike is fully functional, set up and quiet.

Timing for Nick to ride it this Wednesday is very tight.

Yes, doubtful I should think!

That said, I have a day off work tomorrow so if the stars do end up aligning, please let me know! The only thing I do need to do is take my daughter to Epping at 1730
The flock of pigs are marshalled at the end of the runway, awaiting take off

Looks like another challenging Wednesday night ride ahead weather wise…
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

Is this another application for the "hard as nails" club?

The Queens Head, Boreham has won the Chelmsford and mid-Essex CAMRA Pub of the Year Award, so we’re going to start closing before 9pm to see if we can win it next year!

My day is not going according to plan, I'm in Great Yarmouth, dangerously close to Lowestoft. Not sure when I'll be back, carry on without me if I'm not at The Roundabout.

I’m afraid both seasonal colds and COVID is sweeping through our household as I type.

Best thing to do is get out in the fresh air.

Sorry I missed yesterday evening.  At gone 5pm I was messing about with phones at an ergonomic furniture suppliers in Beccles... don't ask, it wasn't how I planned to finish my day!  By the time I'd got home and eaten it was too late and raining  ::-)

In other news this is a lovely article, written some time ago, extoling the virtues of the S24O, some of which I'd like to do this year, ergonomic furniture suppliers in Beccles permitting.

Sounds good. I'm doing an S24O on the 25th March, which I know you can't make.

Re forward planning, after quite a few weeks of easterly venues, could I request a more central venue next Wednesday? The Compasses?

My reign of terror as forward planning officer is over, so you can go back to your barbaric, primordial way of selecting pubs...

To be fair, I did normally suggest a pretty central pub (the clue's in the name), which was vindicated by the fact that neither Eastern, nor Western factions ever turned up!

You might want to extend your reign of forward planning terror for one more week as psyclist is suggesting we visit a pub to which you have a strong association

BTW, I won't be around next week... Croydon  ::-)  Yes I am questioning my life choices  >:(

I thought they were all a bit too close to Russia for my liking, hence a request for something more central next week ... appreciating people aren't thinking it time yet for anything western.
