Well we are playing at home so some chance we will get through  ;D
Knowing is not enough, we must APPLY.
Willing is not enough, we must DO.

Don't worry, Twitcher will 'give the squad players a chance'..........and they'll duly show why they're not in the first team. It was bad enough watching Armband Traore thinking he was still playing for the Gillespie Road Glory Hunters yesterday! Watch SWP get a start!

Basically, two potential entries to your event may depend on our team's progress in the FA Cup. Meanwhile, by us discussing it here you get your event's promotional thread nudged to the top of the message board. All very relevant to all three of us I'd suggest. ;)
Hope you enjoyed the hacking, will you be involved in the enduro event (on or off a machine)?

No problemo, might as well name the teams then :-) used to be a Gunners fan four decades ago.
The enduro/ trails/ MTB course is for limited practice only and keeps the paths open otherwise the brambles take over, we followed a pheasant down through the woods which is one of his pets, plus all the other bird species (don't look at them as they will see you as a threat and make a hasty retreat) inc deer which use the paths on a regular basis.  Good practice for honing your bike (MTB) handling skills and one with an engine   ;)

QPR :-) Gives us more ups and downs than a typical GdS ride though unlike Huff n Puff I gave up the season ticket years ago!

Indeed, in fact the ball probably qualified for an Altitude Award in our 'hoof and puff' shambles against Croydon Palaver today.

Hey Chicane, unfortunately not, it's strictly roads with tarmac. What's your choice of wheels for this one  :-* :)

I'll be on my mtb I expect, although I've had my skates out lately. You've given me an idea! - Is that against the law? (just for interest of course!) :)

Rumour has it that the Knotty 600 org used a skateboard on a 200 km last century.  Also a chap rode the Elinith 300 on a BMX . Eight wheels are fine, but propulsion must be via human effort. Nothing with internal combustion or lithium iron/ lead acid elecki power, hydrogen fuel cells or solid fuel rockets are also out too. Not too sure about clockwork as one has to wind it up in the 1st instance, anyone.... ;D

LOL! I think I can get the rockets off the back...#itsnotrocketscience.

Actually these are specially designed outdoor skates with larger wheels - only 2 per skate - to cope with a few bumps etc. Not sure they and my skills are quite ready for the roads of Britain yet but maybe there is a flat-ish route somewhere without too many potholes or cars...

Here's a photo in case you want to see them. (Sorry if you see anything else I have had to email one of instagrams associates recently as we kept seeing lots of ladies showing off their wares on our website!)

For the record - Audax UK (AUK) - Regulations and Appendices

9.3 Any kind of cycle may be ridden, with the following conditions:
9.3.1 The cycle is propelled solely by human effort.
9.3.2 The responsibility for ensuring that a machine complies with the
road traffic laws rests solely with the rider.

looks as if skateboards,  skates/ blades etc are out, but then again those chaps did PBP etc on scooters? ???

PBP isn't under AUK regulations and, since Alpo's ride on a Kickbike, PBP rules require a chain drive. I expect there will belt-drive machines at PBP15 that will get exemptions.
Wheel meet again, don't know where, don't know when...

They are easier to use than they look, top speed of 17.2 mph the other day-no jet engine attached!  :)

OK, trying to find the list. BRM only goes up to 1000km and nothing on ACP. Found these links from fellow Audaxers across the globe  may be of interest- http://www.audax-club-parisien.com/EN/51%20-%20Links.html

I reckon this lot would get there pretty quickly! :D

Brakes are a bit of a problem. One on the back that tends to destabilize you considerably! Who needs them anyway!
