Normal for Norfolk
« on: 02 July, 2010, 03:39:17 pm »
Me & Mrs Mike had a great day at the Norfolk farming show on wednesday, I havent been to one in about 20 years, it's reassuring to see how little has changed!

There were cows:

and a few pigs:

some beer:

and the main reason for being there were the sheep (that's my dad dressed as a doctor)

and dad being interviewed for radio 4!

Pardon me for being pedantic but be ver very careful if you try to get milk from the  big black beast with a ring through his nose.

I really do not think it is a cow, but a fair sized aberdeen angus bull.

It may look like milk, but it's not nice in tea.

Frum wikipedia: "Cow" has been in general use as a singular for the collective "cattle" in spite of the objections of those who say that it is a female-specific term, so that phrases such as "that cow is a bull" would be absurd from a lexicographic standpoint.

Fair point tho.  I wondered why it objected when I attached the cluster.
