I've got the current edition of Cycling World.
I've cycled on many of the roads featured in the various articles.

Found a lovely flat in the centre of Wells for me and Mrs G - our first little matrimonial pad. £100 a month cheaper than our ceiling limit on rent too so if my job comes to an end and I'm unemployed again, we can still get by.

I was thinking to myself that it was proper 'city centre living'.... only in a city the size of a large village...

I don't think I am.  But sometimes even I am really_quite_lucky, especially when I get to go for nice bike rides on nice lanes with good company ending in a pleasant pub with quaffable ale and excellent chips.  And I don't mind you all being the luckiest chaps in the world, since you deserve it.  But LindaG deserves it the most-est.  And has better legs than the rest of you :D

OK, so today is my last day at work for four weeks - heading to Germany/Sweden/Denmark etc. for a three week tour before coming back to move house (if we're not fit as fiddles after these two episodes then we're doing something wrong!).

Where's that dancing banana emoticon ;D
