Is that a new frame or a refurbishment? Either way, very exciting!
refurb of the British Eagle Touristique to replace a bent chain stay. Also allows the paint job I wanted when the seat stay repair was required.

Arrived today, I now get to spend the weekend re building it

My boy had his International Baccalaureate diploma results today.  42 out of a maximum 45 and comfortably more than the 36 required for his first choice of Edinburgh, to study French and Linguistics.  Top marks in French, German and Psychology, 6/7 in English, Easy Maths and Environmental Something  (I was losing concentration by the end).  And max 3/3 for Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge essay.  I'm a very proud father.

My daughter's just been accepted to do a MSc at Reading Uni in applied meteorology. So you'll know who to blame when the weather's crap.
There's no vibrations, but wait.

The youngest has just ridden about 10 feet on his older brother's old bike with me launching and Mrs Torslanda, of the horned helmet and heavy metal breastplate, catching.

He quickly got the hang of it but I'm still going to single speed it and fit the stabilisers until he's confident - if only coz he's a tad small for the bike . . .

He is proudly sporting his first oily sock! And running around singing in Italian . . .

Could he do this before he rode a bike ?

Oh yes! He came home from school on Wednesday and announced he could count to ten in Italian. Now he's turned it into a song . . .

Mrs. Wow is off on a 5-day trip - without me!

Probably no bikes will be involved, but this is excellent news. She's going to stay with our pal Enid, in Brigg. It's very unusual for her to go on any jaunts without me, whereas I quite often bugger of without her.

I've had an email today from a Hotel In Krakow. In April, I left my tent in their garage whilst I had a day's ride to Auschwitz... and when I came back, the garage had been filled with builders' rubble from a renovation. My tent was buried!

They've now found it, and Iwona will post it home this week.

My tent has arrived home, three months after me! Thank you Iwona from the Hotel Secesja Krakow.

just started working a 3 year old, last raced beginning of this year, I am pleased to say that after an initial fit of bucking, rearing  and farting she soon calmed down and went round like she'd been doing it all her life, looks very promising. :smug:
just need to get some one to get on her back,  :demon:

That was a long day in the lorry, but nice to meet Mr & Mrs Ferret.

We are now the proud owners of a youngster to bring on for Mlle Lagaffe.  I must be mad
