watching plasterers is great

I've achieved buggerall so far today - they're rendering the outside of Mike Towers and it's amazing to watch - very skilled. Only 2 weeks to go till we move back in...  ;D

We have a fantastic plasterer at work at the moment, completely refitting a "ladies loo" (remove all partitions and porcelain, strip wall and floor tiles, retile & plumb).


First plasterer I've seen wearing pale blue velour trackies and furry boots - and a diamante thong poking above the waist band.

I can assure you that rendering can be done by those with minimal skill - i know, I re-rendered the former Volio Towers in Leeds.  And most of Headingley at the same time :)

We have an aluminium ladder which is pretty-much totally-encased in cement and weighs about 3 times what it should
