Blodwyn Pig,you find the most amazing variety of stuff when out on your bike.

I think you are the type of person who would fall into a bucket of sh$t & come up smelling of roses.

indeed , first time I've worn them in fact, latest e-blag snip, late 70's early 80's ones. leather was a bit dry twixt fingers, so I rubbed some proofide on the inside finger bits. I love retro, me. ;)

I can recommend the Ozzo leather palmed mitts. They also survive trips in the washing machine!

Top tip. Cable ties are this VERY USEFUL. Always keep a handful inside your handlebars . . .

Well that's the more blunt way of putting it but as usual he's dead right.

found this in the hedge. When I got home, put it on charge for 5 mins, and fired it up to get a home number. light damage to lower lh screen. The Chap is popping round in 10 mns to pick it up. It was in his toyota pickup, along with his keys and wallet, that was stolen from outside a shop yesterday.  Must have left his keys in it.

Must have been Monday, as I was on the Dawes:

A single Koolstop dual-compund V-brake insert.  Exactly the same as the ones I have fitted to the bike I was riding at the time, about 500m from home.

I checked all my brakes and associated pingfuckits *three times* before I was convinced it hadn't fallen off my bike.

Found on Cock o'the North Bank. I hope they didn't get a puncture.

If anyone does want to claim it, tough, I've already given it away. Looks like an Aldi/Lidl special anyway.

Not strictly correct as I wasn't on my bike, but popped down to Whitstable for a Morris dancing weekend, and in 20 mins, I'd found a pair of reading sunglasses +2.50, and a ...£20 note.

Perhaps his name is David Robert Jones. I believe he's currently best known to members of this forum as  either Opinel or SAK.
