Has anyone got a rare record?

I've got a copy of:

"Electric Jimi Hendrix".

Apparently only a few hundred copies exist, but the tracks are taken from and is the same as that on the normal "Electric Ladyland" LP. So no one is missing out on anything if you don't have it.

According to teh internets Iron Maiden's first release – The Soundhouse Tapes 7” EP – is worth a Several of hundreds of the BRITONS' pounds, so I'm keeping my copy in a climate-controlled environment* in the hope that it appreciates in value.

* Lie.  It lives on a shelf with the other vinyls**.

I have Sergeant Pepper. Nothing rare there, except the label for side 1 is on side 2 and vice versa. I enquired at the vinyl stall in the local market if I could retire off the back of it. No. Bah.

I have a few odds and sods that might be worth something to a committed collector. Probably the most valuable is a mono copy of the Stones' first album, in perfect condition. I have seen that on sale for a few hundred pounds. I imagine that a fair number of the records that I have from the 70s and 80s are no longer available - but whether anyone would want to listen to buy them is another matter.

Going back to the OP, I'd suggest trawling some Hendrix fan sites and seeing if there is anything useful there that might indicate value.
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

It's more like Bakelite actually but I have a record signed by Enrico Caruso.  Because it is a record, a 78 record and I am not really a fan anyway I have never heard it.  I guess it is an heirloom but I don't know from who.  In reality it's probably not rare or worth much.  The other record I have is the Beatles Red Album, is that going to be rare?  I don't think so..  Music Magpie might want it.

I've got:

1) The Long Hello (limited edition of 5,000)
2) Tubular Bells picture disc
3) The Free Story limited edition no 50,031

If these hadn't been damaged in a flood they would be worth...

1) £17
2) £20
3) It was a limited edition of 50,000. I've never worked out how I have a higher number...
It is simpler than it looks.

Motorhead - Bomber 1st pressing in blue vinyl, is the best I can do.
Looks like I won't be buying that holiday home any time soon  :(

Ooooh, I got that one too.  Plus “Overkill” on translucent green vinyl.  I have a vague recollection of the 12” single version of Motorhead b/w City Kids being worth substantially more than I paid for it but not to the extent that I could buy a Bentley on the proceeds.

I had the 7" version in white, but it seems to have faded into the mists of time. I think the very early Motorhead 12" stuff in white is where their money is.
Also, probably in my parents loft, there is a Bomber tour programme autographed by all three members
