I saw the finish of that race as well, including the solitary straggler at the back who looked as if every last morsel of energy had been sucked out of him.

I suspect the spectators guessed we weren't in the race when they saw our mudguards and saddlepack

... and ticked another 200k off. Only Mildenhall for my RRTY.

Excellent - the RRTY is going to be a great achievement.  I'll probably do Mildenhall also, but first ... Evesham.
