Are all sprockets cut with the same thread pattern?
I ask cos my sprocket started slipping the other evening. On inspection, the thread on the hub is stripped and the sprocet thread seems a bit unhealthy
I need to get a new 16 tooth sprocket to put on the other side of the wheel.

Almost. There is an Italian thread which is marginally different.

I don't think it will be Italian, not for a moment. The thread is 1.37" x 24 TPI. Same as an English LH BB cup, same as a freewheel.
