FFS, people, linking to 4000 x 3000 images on f*cking Flickr (not this page) makes for a very slow page load. If you want to stick them on here, can you put a resized image somewhere on line and link to that? Cheers.

Flickr does give you resized versions in a variety of sizes. You just have to pick the right option, then copy the BBcode it gives.

Had a voucher from thon tree forest store needing used up, so treated myself to an 80mm lens ball.

Took it for a wander round some woodlands today. Much fun!

Yesterday, while strolling home from the mairie after voting:

Shame we're under a heavily-used flight-path. The planes are usually far too high for the noise to be intrusive but they make a hell of a mess of the sky.

I'm pretty sure it is a sparrow hawk with a starling. It was pretty fierce!

From this morning's walk:

That's our village.  I feel sorry for the folk who are stuck in a 25m² flat and have only a closed-down city to walk in.

Winter wheat. MrsT spotted a few heads forming already but I can't see any here.

I was out on the MTB a couple of days ago and came across this fine collection.  I know it is just a snap on my phone of a bunch of cows but I thought that they posed so nicely for me.

Yes, with my giant Fujifilm GW670 and a roll of outraged FP4 (best before some time in 1994). At least this time I took a light meter with a fresh battery, unlike last week. Goodness when I'll see the results, or what they'll look like.

FTFM

Just had this from the processing company:

Unfortunately our processor had an unexpected jam during processing one of your films and that one is completely fogged from overdevelopment.

We’ve refunded the entire order as a goodwill gesture and will send a replacement roll of HP5 at no charge.

Bad luck with that.
In over 100 films over the last 4-5 years that's never befallen me (oops, shouldn't have said that!)
I've sent films to my friendly processors that I've messed up in the rewinding which they've salvaged, and if a film completely fails to expose because of a camera fault they never charge me for processing it.
At least you got the cost of the whole order refunded.

I got the email from paypal with the refund before the email from the processor, so I was puzzled for a while. If it was anything important I'd be mightily cheesed off, but as it happens it was no big deal, as it was largely an exercise in getting used to the camera again, and seeing whether I should use or dispose of the outdated film. I'm pretty sure some of the exposures were by mistake (not locking the shutter release after winding on then accidentally pressing one of the two shutter release buttons) and possibly one or two (non-) exposures with the lens cap on. So those mistakes were possibly not as expensive as I'd thought.
