I haven't been fishing since I was a kid, but, today, at a jumble sale, I happened upon (and bought) three rods for £1 each
One is a Drennan carbon fibre - looks nice quality, and the others are old split cane - one's a Pegley Davies and the other has a label which is partly worn away but carries a Latin tag and the name Royle Seal Brand.
Anybody know anything about them - and are they worth anything? (I can't see myself finding time to fish, but I could do with making a few bob to make an inroad into the overdraft
