Safari 15.0

The update to 15.0 seems to have introduced some annoyances.

One is that when I hit the show sidebar button, instead of showing me the last used option, I now have to select from reading list or bookmarks. Is there a solution to that aside from using keyboard shortcuts? (It’s ^ CMD 2 to open reading list sidebar).

Also - the “+” that added a page to the reading list has disappeared! FFS. (Shift CMD D).

Scrub that, the + is there.

The stupid 'too much resource' message that debuted in the last version is killing me, I really don't want Safari to refresh a page while I'm reading it and even less so if I'm completing a form. I still don't see a way to kill it. It may be a bit shit for rendering a web page to use up 200 MB, but I have 24 GB so I mostly don't care.

On Mac I have moved to Firefox (with Containers) and/or Brave (for when I need to join a Teams meeting or such nonsense).

Otherwise, I'm on Linux with Firefox with Containers to isolate sites I don't trust from those that I am hoping I can trust....
