Last Christmas was playing in The Range just now, but it's a pikey shop so they only play ersatz versions.  Phew.

I should be safe now.
Unless the Isle of Wight ferry on Christmas Eve scuppers me.
There's no vibrations, but wait.

What's brown, steams, and comes out of the back of cows?

I thought about introducing that to the discussion, but couldn't think of a way of doing so that wasn't forced and clunky. It seems you couldn't either... ;)

Disappointingly, I can find no record of the IoW ferry ever having been brown.  Maybe when it was a wooden boat rowed by slaves, but then it wouldn't steam much.

In my extreme youth, it was always "What's black and steamy and comes out of cows?"

Popped into Sainos in Bristol.  Last Christmas was playing, but it was a truly awful cover version by some sub-X Factor warbler*.  Still in the game.

*possibly Ariana Grande.  It was fricking horrible, anyway.

I keep expecting the horble cnts of our so-called “government” to play it at a Downing Street presser while disgraced former International Development Secretary Piggi Patel cackles maniacally in the background.

Safe at Fort Larrington now, unless a sudden shortage of festive comestibles requires am unscheduled trip to Mr Sainsbury’s House of That Ilk.

Still in.  Unless they start playing music in the local Co-Op, or SO Whambombs me at her flat, I'm home and dry for the first time ever.  I had to listen to a LOT of Classic FM  :'(

I've yet to hear it.
Tomorrow is Xmas Day and I've no further need to venture out.
Is there a prize of some sort?
